Our annual Battle of the Books competition took place on Wednesday, February 5th.
Popularity with the contest continues to rise as Wyandotte fielded ELEVEN teams this year (55 students participated)! Each student is responsible for reading two of the ten books for their team, but many choose to read more than two. These book experts help their team answer questions to try to score the most points in the contest. Popular titles this year included, What is Lego, Losers Club, Odder, The Last Kids on Earth, Brooklyn Nine, and The Fourteenth Goldfish.
The winning team consisted of: Riley H., Emma M., Nolan P., Katya R., and Sailor S. This team will move on to the Tippecanoe Area Battle. This will take place on February 18th at Battleground Intermediate School. Good luck green team!
