Coin war 2025 was a huge hit!
Week 1 was started strong by 3rd grade, who got out to a commanding lead. Meanwhile, 4th grade was heavily sabotaged. At one point showing a score of over -4,000 points! Not to be outdone, 4th grade rallied and was able to pull into the top 3. A great lesson in not giving up!
Week 2 showed several grades jockeying for position, but 3rd grade held a solid lead. Unnoticed, 1st grade was quietly creeping up the leaderboard. In the end, 1st grade stole the war and claimed the grade-level pizza party!

As a thank you to all students for participating, everyone was treated to Mario themed stickers, gold coin chocolate, and party mints. Students really enjoyed the contest, and the competition was a lot of fun. In all, PTO was able to bring in $5,806.04. This is the real win, as these funds will help buy school supplies and fund small teacher grants for classroom materials!
